The Barn

Surrounded by the rolling hills of Northeast Alabama, The Barn at Canaan Acres has an unmatched, timeless elegance with 12 chandeliers, antique beams relocated from a civil-war barn and a vintage church bell which will ring at the time of your wedding! With such attention to detail, you must come see it for yourself.

Hang out with those that mean the most to you and prepare for your big day, while relaxing in your very own groom’s loft. The windows offer an exquisite view of the grounds and provides an incredible vantage point of the ceremony and reception locations. The Groom’s Loft features a lounge area with a ping-pong table, small dining table, and a private restroom. Additional activities such as corn hole and other yard games are available.

Relax and enjoy breathtaking views from your very own bridal suite. The bridal suite is the perfect place to get ready with the people who mean the most to you. Because of its strategic location, our bridal suite provides an intimate space for you and your bridesmaids to relax, prepare, and dress with direct access to the ceremony site. The windows provide natural lighting for hair and make-up, as well as a great photography area to grab those intimate pictures of you and your bridesmaids.

Located directly behind The Barn, Sophie's Garden cascades down a beautiful hillside lined with hardwoods making it a place of southern enchantment. Our stone walkway will lead you and your guests to a beautiful iron gazebo that stands over a rustic wooden cross. The plush greenery provides an excellent backdrop for your event.
